Opening Conciliatory Council meeting on Monday, acting President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov noted that parliamentarians should consider lots of issues connected with increasing defensive capacity, as well as political and economic reforms.
“Realizing that there has begun the pre-election presidential campaign, I would ask representatives of all political forces to behave decently, avoid political speculation and outright lie. Please, not speculate on the subject of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the complicated tasks they have to accomplish,” he said.
